Fully Automatic Cartesian Robot:
XYZ Movement Control:
The Cartesian robot's XYZ movements are meticulously controlled by motors, ensuring precise motion, speed, and agility, which contribute to faster production rates.
The operator's role primarily involves placing the pallet containing the drums within the specified area equipped with a load cell at the bottom.
- The Cartesian robot initiates the filling process by moving towards the first drum.
- The Z-axis descends into the drum to commence the filling operation.
- As the drum fills, the Z-axis gradually ascends, maintaining control over the filling process.
- Once the predetermined load is reached, the controller sends a signal to the pumping motor, ceasing the filling operation.
- Subsequently, the Cartesian robot navigates to the next drum using XY movement, repeating the filling cycle.
The entire operation is orchestrated by a smart controller housed within the Atex certified Panel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient management of the filling process.
Semi-automatic Filling Cartesian Robots
The Z-axis movement, responsible for the vertical motion required for filling the drums, is automated.
The Cartesian robot autonomously controls the Z-axis, ensuring precise descent into the drum for filling and gradual ascent as the filling process progresses.
The filling process remains similar to the fully automatic version, with the Z-axis descending into the drum to initiate filling.
As the drum fills, the Z-axis gradually ascends until the predetermined load is reached, at which point the filling operation ceases.
The operator is responsible for moving the Cartesian robot to the next drum manually, adjusting the X and Y coordinates as necessary for accurate positioning.
